Google is putting “Not Secure” Warnings on Websites that Don’t Have SSL…

That’s right, if a website does not have an SSL certificate, Google will display a security warning and people could be turned away...

You see, Google made an update in October 2017 that penalizes sites that don’t have something called an “SSL Certificate.” What’s that?

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser.  This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

Customers who feel secure online are more likely to complete a purchase, personalize their profile, and return to your website. SSL certificates provide robust authentication and encryption, reassuring your customers that their data and transactions are secure.

Recently Google updated its Chrome browser to notify website visitors when a site is unsecured (no SSL). I wanted to share this information along with a stat from the recent Research: 82% of people surveyed will not browse unsecured pages.

To put it simply: Google will prioritize sites that are secure - and penalize those that aren’t. Unsecured sites will also have a warning...

Yes, the dreaded “Unsafe Website” Warning. NOBODY wants that, trust me.  Who wants their website to have this displayed when people visit it?

Nobody does.

Customers might (and probably will) go running when they see that warning!

Therefore, as a businesses owner you NEED to secure or you can lose business.

A local business website without an SSL certificate could be losing hundreds, even thousands of dollars, every month, to their competitors!

We can secure your SSL Certificate in one day.  Talk to your BroadMoar Advisors for more details.
